WHAT I’VE BEEN PLAYING: Watch Dogs Legion

Watch Dogs Legion is upon us and I’m having a great time with it so far.

It’s been a few weeks now since Watch Dogs Legion has been released and having the chance to get some time in on the game on PC, I feel comfortable enough to share some impressions about how my experiences with the game so far. Watch Dogs Legion was one of the two games that I was looking forward to this fall. The other game was LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, but that game has been delayed to at least Spring 2021. So, has Watch Dogs Legion delivered on being a game that people should play? Continue Reading

Wait a Minute…This is not my Destiny

Planets that were once full of content such as Titan, Io, and Mercury are gone after the latest Destiny 2 update.

Last year, I decided to try out Destiny 2 for the first time. I had dabbled a bit in the original Destiny on the Xbox One years ago, but quickly lost interest in the live service looter shooter. My conclusion was that those types of games were not for me. Yet when I played the free version of Destiny 2 with an open mind and took time to explore what the shooter had to offer, I became enthralled with the game. Fire Pro Wrestling World is a Virtual Wrestling Masterpiece

Only in Fire Pro Wrestling games can you have a DX vs NWO Landmine Death Match.

I’ve been a fan of pro wrestling video games since I can remember. The arcades yielded classics such as Champion Wrestler, WWF Superstars, WWF Wrestlefest, Saturday Night Slam Masters, Wrestlemania The Arcade Game, and The Main Event. Who can forget the gems on the Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Nintendo Entertainment System that included Pro Wrestling, Tag Team Wrestling, Tecmo World Wrestling, WWF Royal Rumble, and WWF Raw? From the 1980s through today, wrestling games have always been an important part of my gaming collection and will continue to be. Continue Reading

Taking Advantage of Some Good Deals

One of the things I love about PC gaming is that I always find really good deals. I utilize Game Deals Reddit all the time and the websites that they suggest such as Fanatical, Green Man Gaming, Humble Bundle, and GamersGate have ongoing sales throughout the year. This is on top of what you’ll find on platforms such as Steam, GOG, Epic Games, Ubisoft Connect, and Blizzard. Visit the “Game Deals” section in the menu above and you’ll be able to find some good deals at any time. Continue Reading

Why I am Passing on the PS5 and Xbox Series X…FOR NOW

This week the Xbox Series X and Playstation 5 make their long-awaited debuts.

For many gamers, this is the week that you have been waiting for. All the hype over the past few years has led to the day where the masses will finally have a next-generation video game console in their possession. The Playstation 5 (PS5) and the Xbox Series X have arrived and with it, gaming now takes it next step forward. It’s hard to believe how far the industry has come just in my lifetime alone. Part of me thinks that I should be excited at the emergence of the next generation of consoles. But at present, I’m mainly indifferent to it. Continue Reading
