There are a ton of outstanding mods for the classic Star Wars Battlefront II. The Saga Edition creates a new experience by giving the game a graphical overhaul and adding a ton of content not in the original game. If you are a fan of the prequel and original trilogies, the Saga Edition mod is one super package. Saga Edition is the result of the work of Spiret in collaboration with other Battlefront II modders. Thank goodness for modders like these because they fill in the gaps that are many times left by developers of Star Wars games. The Star Wars universe is so vast with so many characters, planets, and species. Only a hint of this is portrayed in Star Wars titles. It seems the only way to get the best selection of characters in a Star Wars game is to play the LEGO versions. Anyway, this mod is superb and I highly recommend you give it a try yourself.
