Hello everyone and especially all of my blog followers. It’s been a bit since my last post but I was unexpectantly admitted to the hospital on March 22. I had been experiencing consecutive days of fevers and also different symptoms since the beginning of the year that indicated that something was wrong healthwise. While at the hospital, I had my gallbladder removed as it was infected and according to the surgeon, “One of the worst gallbladders I have ever seen.” It was to be a relatively simple procedure at first, but once he saw all the inflammation that was there, he had to make a bigger cut around my abdomen to get the gallbladder and everything with it out. But that wasn’t the only thing that was found.
A drain was inserted into my liver as an abscess had developed there. My hospital stay was a little over two weeks and I finally came home last night. At home, I’m on three antibiotics and I will need some time to recover. The doctors have left the drain in because there is still too much fluid from the abscess at this time. I have to give major props to all of the doctors and nurses who worked with me while I was in the hospital. They helped to get me to the point I am now. It’s such a blessing that the fevers are gone and perhaps the biggest catalyst for them (gallbladder) has been removed. Whether you are a believer in Jesus or not, I will tell you it was God’s providence that allowed me to get through everything I went through at the hospital. It was a challenging time.
I’ve missed working on this site and the YouTube channel but my main priority is to focus on my recovery. At this time, I can’t give any type of timetable that I will return, but I need to be in a much better situation now than I am when I do. I appreciate each one of you who has visited this blog. Thank you so much. In the meantime, please send good thoughts and prayers my way as I continue to recover. Take care for now.

Sorry to hear you’ve been so unwell and in hospital. Sounds like you’ve really been through it. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Take care.
Thank you. I’m just taking my time right now to recover. It is going well so far. Once I get through this, I also need to set up getting hip replacement surgery for my left hip. I’m taking it one step at a time.
