Dead Cells is considered to be one of the best indie games that you can buy. It’s a terrific package of Metroidvania, roguelite, and souls-lite. Even though it was released in 2018, the game still enjoys update and new content to this day. There isn’t much in the way of story, but the action is second to none.

Unbelievable. That is the word that comes to mind when I think about the exceptional work that the team behind College Football Revamped did. College Football Revamped is probably best described as a full conversion modification of EA Sport’s NCAA Football 14, the last college football video game to ever be released. Well, as usual, that doesn’t stop the gaming community from coming up with ways to take something that has been left for dead by developers and give it a chance at longer life. For years, NCAA Football 14 was updated each year by different roster creators to coincide with the current season of real NCAA Football. These rosters can be found mainly on Operation Sports. So last Thursday, I put together the Weekly News Wrap-Up for Saturday’s post thinking that there was not going to be anything likely of note happening on Friday. Boy, was I wrong. Microsoft decided to announce that it was going to double the price of its Xbox Live Gold service, which meant that the $59.99 annual tag was going to become $119.99. Needless to say, there was an uproar over the announcement which then caused Microsoft to rescind the price change altogether.
