My history with the Fire Pro Wrestling series goes all the way back to 1996. I’ve never stopped being a fan of how it depicts and simulates the wacky world of professional wrestling. When Fire Pro Wrestling World was released on PC a few years ago, it was a dream come true as I always felt the PC platform would do wonders for the game. The video above is a tag team match from Fire Pro Wrestling World featuring Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage against The Giant and The Yeti from mid-1990s WCW. Special thanks to Senator Phillips for his Hogan and Giant creations, as well as TheAvenger3 for creating Savage, Yeti, and the Halloween Havoc logo. Independent game developers and publishers have been responsible for some of the most innovative gaming experiences I’ve had in the past few years. The care and passion put some of these indie developers and publishers put into their games not only rivals the bigger-budgeted AAA titles, but many times leads to better games. If you’re tired of being disappointed by the bigger gaming companies then it may be time for you to dive into indie gaming.
