Happy weekend to everyone and I hope that all of you who are reading this are safe and in good spirits. The Playstation store is currently hosting a sale that is specific to indie games through November 20th. This is a tremendous opportunity for those of you who are PS4 owners to check out some top indie titles that may have eluded you in the past. After going through the pages of game selections myself, there are nearly a thousand games to pick from. Click here to go to the Playstation store in your browser or access the store on your PS4 unit itself.

There are so many titles that I could recommend but the best thing for you to do is search through the games yourself and look further into the titles that appeal to your gaming tastes. Although I own the majority of my indie game collection on PC, there are a few that I’ve collected on the PS4 that I enjoy. Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition is an arcade zombie shooter that packs quite a punch and has emerged as one of my favorite zombie-based games. Journey is a unique aesthetically driven adventure where you explore a world with much to discover. Finally, Operencia: The Stolen Sun is a first-person dungeon crawling RPG that is based on central European mythology. These have been great buys for me.

Dead Cells is one of the highest regarded indie games at present.

Even though I own the PC version of these games, I would highly recommend these games during the Playstation sale:

Dead Cells
Outer Wilds
Tannenburg
SUPERHOT
Desperados III
Moonlighter
Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark
Fight N’ Rage
Nine Parchments
Children of Morta

I am a huge supporter of indie games. With smaller budgets and resources than the bigger developers, I find that indie games can be more innovative and reflect more passion than many of the AAA titles. There is much more at stake for these smaller developers as a failed launch can mean the end of the company. So if there happen to be indie games that catch my attention, I’m much more likely to prioritize my support for them more so than the bigger companies.

That’s all I have for today. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
