I’m a time travel geek. If that theme is in a book, movie, television show, anime, or video game; then I’m interested. That is the reason why Back to the Future is my favorite movie trilogy, Steins Gate is my favorite anime, and the original The Twilight Zone is my favorite television series. I wanted to like the latest Mortal Kombat film. It was one of the few movies that I was genuinely looking forward to seeing in a long time. I am a big fan of bots in multiplayer shooting games. This is because playing online with other players doesn’t really appeal to me. There are occasions when I will play a Call of Duty game online here and there, but those are rare occurrences. More than 90 percent of my time in multiplayer shooters is spent playing with and against the A.I in the game. It’s what I prefer and I wish that every multiplayer shooting game included this option. Independent game developers and publishers have been responsible for some of the most innovative gaming experiences I’ve had in the past few years. The care and passion put some of these indie developers and publishers put into their games not only rivals the bigger-budgeted AAA titles, but many times leads to better games. If you’re tired of being disappointed by the bigger gaming companies then it may be time for you to dive into indie gaming.
