TVGA YouTube: Nearly Twenty Minutes of Hades Gameplay
To go along with celebrating Hades as my Game of the Year, I’ve uploaded some gameplay for you to check out. This sample encompasses the first run while also showing how the story develops and characters are introduced following death. One of the clever aspects of Hades is how death is not the end, but in many ways is the beginning of something greater. If you’re looking for a game to sink your teeth into that will last many hours, provide a worthwhile challenge, and feature top notch story and voice work, I highly recommend Hades.

Hades Was The Best of 2020

When I first picked up a controller to play Hades in April 2020, I knew that I was about to experience something special. I had first discovered this indie masterpiece in late 2019. What immediately attracted to Hades was its art style and vibrance the game displayed. The gameplay looked like it would be a blast to experience and the voice work was top notch. Yet it’s one thing to expect that something would be spectacular versus actually confirming that it is. Hades is indeed spectacular and demonstrated its supremacy over all others in 2020. TVGA YouTube: NFL 2K5 Featuring Four Hall of Fame Receivers
Using gr1014’s 1998 rosters for ESPN NFL 2K5, I decided to match the Minnesota Vikings (me) against the San Francisco 49ers (CPU) from that year on “Legendary” difficulty. The contest features four Hall of Fame receivers with Jerry Rice and Terrell Owens for the Niners versus Randy Moss and Chris Carter for the Vikings. Who will prevail in this showdown? And better yet, being that T.O. and Moss were recently having the “greatest receiver’ talk on the Getcha Popcorn Ready w/ T.O. and Hatch podcast, just how did those two fare?

New Year’s Gaming Resolutions
With a new year comes new goals and a list of things to accomplish during the present 365-day cycle. The previous year is now past and a part of history. It can not be relived or revisited. The main function of the past year is now to either build on it or to learn from it. But it is the things we do now in the present that affect both the present and future. The year 2021 will consist of new beginnings, the continuation of things from the prior year, and also a challenge to leave behind those things that have brought about turmoil and suffering. TVGA YouTube: Someone Remembered Jyn Erso
How Jyn Erso was left out of Star Wars Battlefront II (2017) was puzzling to me. She was in Star Wars Battlefront (2015) just a couple of years prior. Not only that, but Battlefront II even had the Scarif Beach map, which would have been a perfect way to implement her into the game. Thank goodness for modders to fill in the gaps. The video above features Battlefront II with Swiz 19’s Jyn Erso mod. She replaces Han Solo.
